Relief From Tinnitus
50 million people suffer in the US from tinnitus every day.
Every single one of them prays for some kind of relief from tinnitus.
Tinnitus is a symptom that just brings on even more symptoms on you.
Sleepless nights… Irritability… Difficulty concentrating… Unrefreshing sleep… Inability to focus… The distraction.
Tinnitus is nothing to be taken lightly and only if you have experienced it can you really understand what a daily battle it is. Unfortunately, there is no cure backed by the FDA or any other governmental health department. However, that doesn’t mean there haven’t been success stories of some ex-tinnitus sufferers.
Although as they say not all size fits one, you can use these tips from other tinnitus sufferers to find relief from tinnitus. And while there isn’t a cure for tinnitus, there have been new treatments such as tinnitus maskers and sound therapy to give you a break from the madness of the constant ringing.

Here are some things known to help bring relief from tinnitus:
The Non Western Approach
Acupuncture, magnet therapy, hyperbaric oxygen, and hypnosis have all been used by some successfully to help control their tinnitus. It doesn’t cure you fully, but it has been linked to help with the discomfort and pain that comes with tinnitus. I would also like to add that aromatherapy has been a method employed by tinnitus sufferers looking for relief from tinnitus.
Herbs & Vitamins
Numerous studies have shown that gingko leaf extract is effective in some tinnitus cases. Among my research I have seen gingko leaf extract as one of the most effective in relieving one’s tinnitus.

There seems to be a correlation between tinnitus and a person with deficiencies in magnesium and potassium. With this found correlation, it is safe to assume that one may want to increase their magnesium and potassium intake to try to get relief from tinnitus. It is also important to note at this point that tinnitus has also been linked to zinc deficiencies.
While we are on the subject of what vitamins and herbs to take, I would like to take this opportunity to list what not to eat. Some tinnitus irritants include: too much salt, sugar, artificial sweeteners, tobacco, and caffeine.
Sound Therapy
Tinnitus maskers help a great deal to give you a good night’s rest or just a break from the madness. With there is still a hunt for the cure for tinnitus. Tinnitus maskers are there now to help mask the constant ringing and bring relief from tinnitus. Sound therapy has been created to help mask and distract you from the annoying sounds, thus bringing relief from tinnitus.
Tinnitus maskers right now are the best way to help get a good night’s rest and to take a break from that annoying and maddening ringing in your ear.
